Thoughts On T.I.'s Jail Time?! (let's hear it)
I'm actually happy he's going to jail. Now before y'all jump on my and beat the shit outta me, let me explain.
T.I. is a man. Not only a man, but a respectful one at that. He got himself into this mess, and he fessed up to it. He's taking responsibility for his actions. Ain't that what we all want our kids (next generation) to grow up and do? Take responsibility for what we do, and take what our punishment is?
T.I. was one of my top 5 rappers of all time. Now that he's going through with this, getting it outta his way and moving on, he just gained so much more of my respect I can't put into words. He is #2 forever on my list of greatest rappers alive or dead. Number one still goes to Bone Thugs, but he might take their spot one day.
Thank you T.I. for being a great inspiration to us all. Do ya time and we'll all be here to support you and back you up when you get out.

I feel you on that he did the crime so he must do his time. he was only lookin out for himself and his family remember his long time partner got killed right in front of him and he got scared you kow. I feel him damn near that bullit was ment for him so i say do yo time tip live your life and still shine cause eveything gone be okay. I think that he has positive attitude about the situation anyway you know and he will always learn from his mistakes.

He's going to jail for illegal gun possession. By "illegal" I mean he is a convicted felon (earlier in life) and now he is not allowed to own any gun. He also bout silencers and scopes which are instantly red-flagged in gun shops and investigated. He had one of his body-guards get them for him, the ATF caught him, and the body-guard ratted on him.

qhetto Queen, that is a good point about him just wanted to protect himself and his family. But the law is the law. And you're right, he does have a positive attitude about his situation which is REALLY good to see from someone that everyone looks up to.

I luv T.I and i would do anything 4 him.... he had a right 2 stick up 4 himself... and i think dat is one reason he carried guns or bought dem.... he was protecting himself and i think its wrong dat now he has to go to prison or might.. i really think it is dumb!! i luv u T.I and wateva happens happens u kno wat i mean??? luv yas

Prez, all the info I read up on his sentence is this. If he doesn't get into any fights and does what he's told in prison, then he'll be released on my birthday which is March 26, 2010. In other words, he'll get 2 months knocked off his sentence for good behavior.

Well Brittany, i think it's fucked up too that he went to prison, but he knew he couldn't own any guns because of his previous convictions.Granted, everyone should have the right to protect themselves and their families, but that's what he has body-guards for. Best thing to come out of this though, like I said before, is that T.I. ain't bitchin about it. He pled guilty and is doing his time without pointing a finger at anyone but himself.

Amos, GREAT point. T.I. had guns for a real reason. AIG niggas just stole money from thier customers then the federal government and got away with it. BILLIONS of dollar at that. Them niggas need to be sentenced to LIFE for helping put this country into a down spin. Let T.I. out and they can have his cell.
