T.I.'S SENTENCE
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE NEED TO START A PETITION TO GET T.I. A PRESIDENTIAL PARDON FROM THE PRESIDENT SO HE WON'T HAVE TO SPEND ANY JAIL TIME. THERE ARE A LOT OF REASONS HE SHOULD BE RELEASED LIKE WHEN HE HAD SUCH AN IMPACT ON THAT OAKLAND SCHOOL NOT TOO LONG AGO. THIS MAN IS WORTH MORE TO THIS COUNTRY FREE THAN HE IS INCARCERATED. FOR ALL OF YOU WHO ARE DEDICATED TO THE GRAND HUSTLE FAMILY YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND AND AGREE WITH MY PROPOSAL. IF SO RESPOND TO THIS DISCUSSION AND I WILL GET THE ADDRESS TO THE WHITE HOUSE. WE WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES. WE HAVE TO KEEP THAT STRENGTH THAT WE'VE ALWAYS HAD AND KEEP OUR PEOPLE FREE AND PROTECTED FROM THE WICKED LAWS OF THE LAND.

Unbelievable post, gimme a freakin break. This guy, regardless of how skilled he is as a rapper or artist or whatever, broke the law. He got off the hook EASY, simply because he had the money to do so. You want to talk about the wickedness of this country, you need to realize the wickedness of money trumping the laws that we are all obligated to live by.
And are you really so blind and ignorant to the fact that this experience he is about to undertake holds the potential to positively influence the community so much more than if he is let off the hook? He deserves more than year, period. He broke the law. But he can use this for such powerful good in the world, if he lets GOD use him to do so that he holds much more potential after this than ever before.

What wicked laws, requiring a process to possess restricted weaponry? I am a gun enthusiast, I enjoy shooting and I pack heat in Arizona because I take advantage of that part of the constitution. But if I want to own a silencer or an automatic weapon, I would have to follow the process. Thinking that anybody is above that requirement is ridiculous, and because individuals continue to do stupid shit like this without proper procedures is why I stand to lose my right to bear arms under a liberal government.
Give me a break.

The white man ain't keepin you down, its stupid actions like this that contribute to the lingering evil of racism that unfortunately pervades this country.
If you act right, and obey the law, you can do anything you want in this land.
If you make a living glamorizing the life of a crime and make millions off of it, you have what is coming to you after painting the target on your back.
I pray for a rebirth in Jesus for this man, and some common sense for you, Alex, because it seems like its evading you pretty well.

ti broke the law yes, however how many other celebraties break the law everyday and get NOTHING OUT OF IT. is that right? ti can touch the lives of so many kids and you want to lock him up for having a few guns.. Alicia, just because I used a bit of a negative tone does not mean that you understood what I was saying. Read it again. I haven't had to sell drugs to survive, I haven't had to kill anybody. Thank God. While I'm thanking God, I'll mention that He met me where I was at, in a downward spiral of crime and addiction.
If you had looked past the negativity of my post, that I probably could have done without, you see that I attack the idea that this is not something TI deserves. However, I do not pretend to know what anybody else deserves in terms of punishment for something like this but I stated several times that this is the best opportunity for the Black community that TI could have handed to him. This is the opportunity that this guy can use to continue the service he is doing for his community. That's what I said.
It has nothing to do with what's worse than something else, I don't try to take anybody's guns away because I own guns myself. However, after finishing my punishment for MY crimes with the government, I had to FOLLOW THE PROPER PROCEDURES to once again own a firearm.
TI had the opportunity to do just this, Most states allow for a judicial review of gun ownership after a set period of time after an offense has been satisfactorily punished, usually 7-10 years. Now, he doesn't really have that right anymore.
If you make millions of dollars, you keep staff to protect you where you cannot. I'm not saying TI was dangerous with guns and that guns are the devil blah blah blah. BUT HE LOST HIS RIGHT TO POSSESS THEM. Failing to allow for a proper way to accomplish his protection and laughing in the face of the requirement of law that applied to his right to own guns IN NO WAY WARRANTS A PRESIDENTIAL PARDON.

The dude deserves way more then he got. He is very lucky 1 year and he is crying about that come on dude. I agree with JG all the way. This dude has a couple of felonies obviously does not learn his lesson. What a stupid _ _ _ _ Ya let me carry around a gun and act like a gang banger. Now he want to be a good role model to kids all because he got time. Stop being a bitch and do your time like a man.
