LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE NEED TO START A PETITION TO GET T.I. A PRESIDENTIAL PARDON FROM THE PRESIDENT SO HE WON'T HAVE TO SPEND ANY JAIL TIME. THERE ARE A LOT OF REASONS HE SHOULD BE RELEASED LIKE WHEN HE HAD SUCH AN IMPACT ON THAT OAKLAND SCHOOL NOT TOO LONG AGO. THIS MAN IS WORTH MORE TO THIS COUNTRY FREE THAN HE IS INCARCERATED. FOR ALL OF YOU WHO ARE DEDICATED TO THE GRAND HUSTLE FAMILY YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND AND AGREE WITH MY PROPOSAL. IF SO RESPOND TO THIS DISCUSSION AND I WILL GET THE ADDRESS TO THE WHITE HOUSE. WE WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES. WE HAVE TO KEEP THAT STRENGTH THAT WE'VE ALWAYS HAD AND KEEP OUR PEOPLE FREE AND PROTECTED FROM THE WICKED LAWS OF THE LAND.

I agree we should start a petition. I watched T.I show last night and he recieved an award for inspiring change and if you are going to award a man for that why would you turn right around and put him in jail. That is a hipocrit I think

If people are treated differently then some of them will get a better than you problem with themselves and thats where prejudice is breed, you do the crime you do the time, let's stop being young, dumb, and irresponsible, and start being a good example for others, come on ya'll get real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!there is no sense in supporting someone or something just to belong, stand up for what's right, you do the crime you do the time, ITS JUST NOT THAT SIMPLE BUT TREAT OTHERS HOW U WANT YOUR KIDS TO BE TREATED>DAMMIT

I have to agree with you I don't think that he deserves to go to prison.

Not knowing right from wrong isn't a mental issue. Mental issues are disorders like schizophrenia, anti-social personality disorder, or PTSD.

In my opinion it will be hypocritical if he doesn't go to jail. Yes T.I may be influential, but that's not going to get him from going to jail.

ya know, I'm glad he had the money to get out on bail and take this time to prove himself. Its really not fair cause I didn't have the money to bail myself out. I had to stay in jail two months until I was sentanced. He is lucky he has money. I'm hoping he's changed, we'll all find out because he will be on parol or probation and he'll get nabbed for anything he does wrong. If he's sincere....we'll find out AFTER he's been sentenced. Thats how it goes.

Yea thats what he needs if any other nigga gets caught on the street........ thats straight to prison for him...... T.I. is above no one and should have to do his time...... The president isnt here to pardon and man black or white for the crime he has done......Many believe this is a time to rise up against others because of the new president and just bc he puts a court in place were a bowling alley was doesnt make him a brother...... who is he to decide T.I.'s sentence........ And i dont believe he will pardon him..... This will make the president look horrible..... Letting a man..... a black man away with a crime.... especially one with money....When he should be repairing the economy

Are you serious? He is a felon who was in possession of ILLEGAL firearms (plural, more than one). That is an automatic 5 years. He was caught on audio saying "no flash, no bang." What you an average person assume that would mean? I am sure he has bodyguards and private security who are legit and can carry their own personal weapons as opposed to a felon purchasing a weapon in an ILLEGAL manner. For your information, he was arrested on federal gun charges, he has prior felony gun and drug charges, which did not help him, but high powered machine guns cannot be purchased by your average citizen, so he would have to had still obtain them illegally. Get your facts straight.

T.I. Really didn't break a law...because if me and my entourage where attacked and my bestfriend was killed by the gunfire of an unknown person I wolud have tried to protect myself along with my entourage at all means possible... u have to realize that the local law enforcement agenices of small cities across the U.S. Don't have the allocated funds to protect the entertainers of today... so why can't they arm themselves... and provide there own protect... the federal government isn't gonna provide it... and just a reminder T.I.P. wasn't arrested and charged for purchasing the guns had he not been on parole... it would have been ok... so the crime is actually a parole violation... But I do feel that Cliff has redeemed him self time and time again... I mean not only is it shown in his music... but look at the kids he has helped across the country...and I feel that its GINUWINE... I highly doubt that he is doing this to get out of jail time... because he has been giving back to not only his community but other communities arcoss the nation for a very extended amount of time... I stand by T.I. As a loyal and determined fan... T.I. Has even influenced me to begin a change in my life

You reference pedophiles getting 30 days in jail and 3 years probation. Is that state or federal? Because in federal prison, they do a lot more than 30 days. I have seen a minimum of 1 year to an excess of 15, and that is for just looking at kiddie porn, not even trying to meet the person.

p.s.s. Has anyone ever seen "to catch a predator" on msnbc? These online pedifiles get 30 DAYS in jail and 3 years probation. I don't think T.I. should do 1 day after the punishment of losing his best friend and making the effort he has to bring attention to these senseless hate crimes. I was at Burbank airport when they arrested snoop with a gun and I don't blame them for pack'n after what's happened to B.I.G. and Tupak. T.I. probably had some kind of gun fedish and should be slapped on the wrist. . not prison. Its different for celeb's in prison. Twice as hard. And that retard West Coast Savior is a jealous hater who has obviously never done time.

I am with ya on this!! T.I. seems to have truly turned his life around & is trying to help other youngsters to turn their lives around as well. I think its a great thing that he is doing with the community & I hope he continues to do this for the a long time to come. T.I. has children & I am pretty sure he dont want his children to make the same mistakes he made in life. Watch his show on Tuesday nights at 9:30 p.m. on MTV & you will see how he is helping young people to see the danger in the lives they live! I think that when Philant was gunned down in the drive by shooting, T.I. thought that he had to have some kind of protection so that he didnt end up the same way. And yes, he did break the law having those weapons but there are lots of people (famous) that break the law & nothing happens to them. If the President will not pardon him completely maybe he can atleast reduce the amount of time he is supposed to spend in prison! However, in most incidents of a felon carrying a weapon, you would get atleast 5 years so I guess T.I. did get a light sentence but I still hate to see him go to prison for a year!! Maybe he will write us lots of lyrics to listen to once he gets out.
