    In a new interview with the Washington Post, T.I. spoke on his current presence in the rap game...

    “I’m going to always rise above the doubt that may exist about me. I have a core audience of fans that are going to buy (my albums) whether I have a single out. I ain’t got to have a video out. ... When you hear my name and an album, it’s going to be the complete body of work. It’s going to be above standard.

    “There’s a difference between being hot for the moment, and being huge,” he said. “Whether I’m hot or not, I’m still huge in a lot of different areas.

    Fuse caught up with T.I. earlier this week and asked him for more details on Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head. Tip announced that artists like A$AP Rocky, Andre 3000, R, Kelly, Cee-Lo Green and P!ink will be on Trouble Man. Fuse also asked about the Go Get It music video and T.I. admitted it was the most fun music video he's shot in a while. He also said that 'Ball' his song with Lil' Wayne might the next single off the album and he hopes it'll be released in the next couple weeks.

    "I've always been the young guy who was groomed by the older guy," T.I. tells The BoomBox of the similar characteristics he shares with Power, a character in his new book, Trouble & Triumph. "And I always found myself developing a lot quicker than they expected me to, mentally at least."

    The rapper-turned-author's novel, out today, continues where his 2011 read Power & Beauty left off. David Ritz, who's written biographies on Ray Charles, Smokey Robinson, Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye, among others, helped T.I. pen both efforts.

    T.I. stopped by 106 & Park yesterday to catch fans up on everything that he's been up to recently. Tip was proud to announce that his probation would be coming to an end on September 29, the same day the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards will be taped in Atlanta.

    He revealed that the new release date of his upcoming album Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head, which will be released on December 18th. He will be working with Cee Lo Green, Andre 3000, DJ Toomp and Pharrell Williams on the project. He also spoke on his new book Trouble & Triumph, available today!
