The King, T.I., held court with the Queen when he remixed Beyoncé’s “Dance for You” earlier this year. But he first he got approval from Bey herself. He called up Pharrell, who happened to be in the studio with the “Single Ladies” singer, and asked if she supported his idea to add a verse.

“That very night, I did it and got it back to them, and they gave me the nod of approval and I ran with it,” Tip told Rap-Up TV.

T.I. is aware that Bey has a new album on the way and he’s more than willing to help out.

T.I. will be the first to admit that he has a way of getting into trouble. The Atlanta rapper’s bouts with the law have been well-publicized through the years—most notably, when he was incarcerated in 2009, released in 2010, and then arrested for violating his probation that same year. He dropped No Mercy in December 2010, but with his name was doused in controversy, it didn’t make the impact that the Grand Hustle honcho’s previous projects had. Back to tell the story of his troubles, T.I. is following up that album today with his eighth solo LP, Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head.

In case you haven’t been keeping up, Atlanta native and Grand Hustle CEO T.I. released a track called “Sorry” featuring Andre 3000 off of his highly anticipated album Trouble Man (due in stores December 18th). The song is generating major buzz from 3 Stacks verse which from the sounds of it, gives us some insight as to why Outkast has been off the map for a bit. After T.I.
