T.I. has signed on for a season-long role on Kelsey Grammer's Starz series, "Boss," the network confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com! Tip will portray a former gangbanger, looking for a career in Chicago's City Hall, according to Deadline. The industry site reports that T.I. will be "the conduit between a local Alderman and the only group powerful enough to function as a grassroots organization in the projects - gangs."

"Boss" debuted in October and stars Kelsey Grammer as ruthless Chicago mayor Tom Kane. The role earned the "Frasier" actor his third Golden Globe Award. The show also received a nod for Best Television Series - Drama.
