Dats our most famous festival,known as "dusherra".On this day Lord Rama defeated ten headed demon,name 'Ravana'(effigy of Ravana in middle)thereby rescuing his wife 'Sita' who had been kidnapped by this evil ruler of 'Lanka'(his kingdom).Da story of da war n lord Ramas victory is re-enacted with great fervor on this holiday.To know more plz. check out this -RAMAYANA(holy book of India) on internet.Da other two effigies is da son n brother of Ravana.DA name of his son was 'Meghnath' also known as 'Inderjeet'(one of da great warrior of Lanka) and his brothers name was 'Kumbhkaran'These effigies r full of xplosive.
